Building a home for mason bees Nevada

I have seen many Mason Bees polinating the trees and flowers near my house. I decided this week I would offer them a home. I decided I was not ambitious enough to drill them holes. I went shopping at my local garden center and bought what looks like nice reed free living. Building blocks of a mason bees home you may say. I have fixed the bee house to a South facing fence post about 5'-6' above the ground. There is already a mason bee polinating the wild flower directly below. About 40' away is a bird bath and fountain with water.

I used plastic straps to secure it to the fence post.

If I were a mason bee I would move right into this house.
